Your MIND does not know the difference between thoughts you tell it and reality.

WEIRD but true! Your mind and body cannot tell the difference between a real and imagined event.


Don’t believe me? Do this exercise. Imagine that you’re eating a lemon, its bright yellow and super juicy. Imagine lifting it up to your mouth, open your mouth and take a massive bite of it. You’re not just biting it you’re trying to chew it and suck all the sour juice out of it.


What happened? Your mouth filled with saliva right? That was your mind not knowing the difference between the THOUGHT and REALITY. It actually did not know the difference between you THINKING you ate a lemon and the reality that you did not just eat a lemon.


This has been scientifically proved by researchers at MIT. They stated that the mind can not distinguish between a real and imagined event. If you IMAGINE eating the lemon or really eat the lemon your brain will think you have.


With this in mind can you see the POWER of our minds to achieve our aim and goals.


This is why it is so important to keep control of the thoughts YOU THINK ABOUT YOURSELF!


If you are constantly saying to yourself that you're a loser, unlucky, bad things always happy to you, you're a horrible cook, you're a bad driver...even if you are just being self-deprecating, your mind thinks those things as true.


Once it thinks it is true it will work as much as possible to create situations where those thoughts are realised.


However now you KNOW this information you can use your own mind against itself!


You can reprogramme your mind to think only good thoughts about you and the world you live in.


If you are into affirmations (see my blog post on this) then you can see how repeating positive statements about yourself over and over again can be extremely powerful. It will make your mind want to lock onto and create as many opportunities to show you over and over again how right you are!


Your mind believes whatever you tell it. YOU are in control of your mind are you not?


For instance tell if that you’re so lucky, that everything works out for you, that you’re happy and grateful, that you’re smart and talented and it will work to prove that you are right.


You will then start to ATTRACT positive things that you ask for into your life, PROVING to yourself that affirmations can manifest.


Start NOW, say one good thing about you (even if you don't really believe it) and you are on your way to a better day.
